plain — sample site

This site has no moving parts while people read it — just fast, safe, static pages. The work happens once, at publish time.

When you publish, three things happen:

  1. Your change is saved into the site's history, permanently.
  2. A small robot rebuilds every page of the site from your files.
  3. The finished pages replace the old ones, worldwide, in about half a minute.

Because the site is rebuilt from scratch every time, it can never drift into a broken state. And because history keeps every version, Restore is always one click away — nothing you publish is ever unrecoverable.

Drafts work the same way, minus step three: a draft is saved and versioned, but the build skips it. Publish when it's ready; until then, only you see it.
